As we head into the fall months we see a myriad of species we can target and many of our trips can become multi-species trips! The much anticipated fall run of Striped Bass can be more than visual as many of our clients call it epic, crazy, or simply awesome! Birds crashing bait with blitzing fish underneath never gets old! Big Blues can join the party and once the water temps drop out we are strictly fishing Stripers! Big Tautog or Blackfish are excellent table fare and that season opens in November and these are a tasty treat for our clients along with Sea Bass!

​Long Run Fishing Charters is your all season guide service that specializes in a variety of inshore species like Flounder, Striped Bass, Summer Fluke, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Bonita, and False Albacore.


So from April through December you can put together a trip and target the fish you want and simply call or email us and lets discuss your trip and get you out on our 30' Triton CC! She is equipped with the latest safety and electronics to make sure your trip is safe and comfortable. Our tackle, rods, reels, and lures we use are all top of the line from industry leading manufacturers!

Being strategically located on the Manasquan River allows us to capitalize on river fishing for racer size Bluefish that run the river in April to early season Stripers looking to fatten up after a long winter. This starts as early as April and can run through May and as the ocean temperatures heat up we will be out front fishing the ocean with live bunker/menhaden, or throwing popping plugs or swimmers to awaiting Stripers for heart pounding surface busting action! Bluefish will join the fray and always put on a rod bending show. This action can last through the month of June and into early July. During the summer months we focus on doormat sized Fluke as our Tournament Winning team puts you on the spots to bring home fish up to 10 pounds!
